Power
The new RAM 2500 comes standard with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that generates 410 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. You can also opt for a 6.7-liter Cummins® inline-6 turbodiesel engine that produces 370 horsepower and 850 lb-ft of torque. Like the RAM 1500, the RAM 2500 has a dashboard-mounted dial that controls the 8-speed automatic transmission.
Interior
The RAM 2500 will seat five comfortably and every ride will be more enjoyable with available leather seats. For the most room, you will want to go with the Mega Cab® model, which offers 43 inches of legroom in the second row. In addition to people, with a total of 258 liters of storage, there is also plenty of space for other necessities. With acoustic glass and active noise cancellation technology, the RAM 2500 is quieter than ever. This truck also has several available tech features, such as wireless smartphone charging, up to three 115-volt outlets in the cab, and up to five USB ports. Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration is also available.
Safety
The 2019 RAM 2500 comes standard with overhead airbags, seatbelt pretensioners that protect passengers in the event of an accident, and an ignition disable device to prevent theft. There are also several available featured including automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, forward collision warning, and 360-degree cameras.
